I hope you read this. It has been a long time since we communicated.
I finally had my dad's Y-DNA analysed. Nancy Panter/Painter of Rutherford County, NC was the mother of William M. Panter who married Angeline Clementine Gee. My dad come through this line. I know you know this. Anyway, there has been so much speculation about the father of Nancy's children, that I decided the only answer for me was Y-DNA.
The results came back with an exact match to the Robbins of Rutherford County. By matching the Robbins in the areas to Panter/Painters in the area, I believe that I have Nancy's family, maybe even her father.
