WOOLBRIGHT/WILLBRIGHT/MOORE/PERKINS

I am posting a new message with newly-acquired information. Hope someone out there has corresponding family members or information on a lead.

My Grandfather's name was John Ira Moore born in Claysville, Webster County KY on 10/04/1885 and died 6/18/1969 in Kirkwood MO. He married to Leanner Perkins born in Hornbeak, Obion County TN 7/7/1890 and died 7/1/1986. John Ira had a brother Harve E. and three sisters, Fannie, Cora and Eveline.

His parents were Dock Moore b. abt. 1845 in Kentucky and Mary Woolbright b. abt. 1860 in Tennessee and died in Senath, MO. Dock had a brother Harve and a sister Ann. Mary had a brother Jessee and a sister Anghline. Her parents were Jim and Melinda. These are the people I am interested in finding.

It is thought that there was indian blood in the family. Anytime anything came up missing in a town - my grandfather was the first suspect because of the alleged half-breed status - and he and his family would pack up and leave in the middle of the night. My parents have told me that my ggparents were missionaries to the indians, supposedly she was a pentacostal preacher and he was a doctor. There's an inordinate amount of Bible thumpers in the family on both sides.

Your help would be very, very much appreciated.

Brenda
