the D.A. stands for David Anna (Jones) yep ... that's right ... her daddy named her David ... story goes she HATED being called David which is why all documents about her will show up as either D.A. or Annie ... I think she's the mother of my great grandma Savanah (Woolard) Lilly

Savanah Woolard and Charles Robert Lilly lived in Clay County, Arkansas ... right on the Ark-Mo. line (close to Neeleyville and Naylor and all that). I think Savanah was born in Arkansas but some of her older siblings were born in Missouri. Savanah's parents died when she was young.

I am her descendant. I think they are on the 1910 Clay county census, it's been awhile since I've looked at all that stuff.
