Woodworth Family Genealogy Forum

I would like to find someone in the Woodworth family which owned the beautiful rosewood Steinway Model C 7'3" Parlor Grand, manufacture date April 4, 1879 and sold to B. Woodworth in Rochester, New York in May 1879. There may be a member of the Woodworth family who knows of the piano, who would like to see the piano return to its original family, who may have moved away from Rochester but would want to know that the piano is about to be sold by the current owner.
My mother purchased the piano in 1957-8 and had it completely refurbished; as far as I know, the piano has had no owner other than the Woodworth family and mine, but I am looking for all possible information about this instrument and its history, and as it is now being sold again, I want its original family to have a chance to purchase it if they wish.
This is a magnificent and extraordinarily beautiful instrument, 85 keys, rosewood with gold leaf trim (refurbished in 1957-8), comparable according to the Steinway dealer to a Stradivarius violin; it is a Centennial piano, made to commemorate the 100th birthday of the United States. It has been appraised and is expected to continue to appreciate in value significantly.
I do hope that the right person sees this very soon; several people have been seriously interested in buying it from the minute it was to be sold and I would like anyone in its original family who would care about it to know in time. My email address is ianthelivadas@gmail.com. One might be able to reach me at (585) 271-4807 as well.
