I am looking for information on FRANKLIN NEWLAND WOODWORTH,(b. 1815 in New York according to various census).

He came west to Oregon by wagon train in 1850. He married Jane Sullivan; they had 9 children including my gr-grandmother Martha Jane. Martha married Fred Staiger. They had twin daughters, Ina and Nina (my grandmother).

I have been unable to find info on Franklin (orJane)previous to the wagon train listing. I would also love to find more descendants.

The 9 children are George, Martha Jane, Mary Catherine (3rd wife of Jesse H Settlemier,founder of Woodburn OR), Sarah Ann, Velorus Mathias, William, Harriet, Joseph and Loyal Edwin.
