I have a copy of a book titled Descendents of Capt. Henry Woodward and am looking for other descendents of Capt. Henry. I am slowly putting the data into a PAF database but the lay out of the book makes for slow going. I estimate the book contains approximately. 5000 individuals. I am an eighth generation descendent.

Descendents of Capt Henry Woodward
"Henry Woodward, born in England about 1730, died in Stafford Co. VA., in late 1700's, parents names unknown, married Sarah (Sally) Shelton, born in England, died in Stafford Co., VA., parents names unknown. (most Stafford County records destroyed in both Rev. & Civil wars) Capt. Henry is said to have married a second time but there are no facts available on second marriage. So far no factual information has been located on Capt. Henry after 1758"

Jesse Woodward, b 1 Sep. 1864, Aquia Creek, Safford Co., Va., d. 25 Sept 1829 m, ca. 1785 to Mary (Mollie) Hyden
William Presley Woodward, b 1776, Stafford Co., VA., d 11 March 1848 near Gilmore, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, m Aug. 1805 to Jane McFee
By far and away most of the book covers James' descendents, mainly because he had 12 children, 11 who lived and had descendents. I am descended from his 12th child, David Thompson Woodward. That and the compilers of the book are all James' descendents as well.
