Peter Woodward was born about 1750 and by 1800 was living near Forest City, NC. His wife (name unknown) was also born about 1750. They were married about 1770, just before the start of the Revolutionary War. They had 9 children: Peter Jr. b.1765-1774, Anna b. about 1770( my ggggggggrandmother), 3 other boys b. 1770-1790 and 4 other girls b. 1770-1790. By 1810, Peter Sr. had moved to Kentucky and was living just across the Ohio River from Illinois. This was the last that we could find on Peter Sr.
Anna Woodward was born about 1770, possibly in ND to Peter Woodward. Her mothers's name is unknown. She and John had: Abner b. 20 May 1793, Peter Jr. b. 17 Oct. 1794, George b. 26 Dec. 1798, John b. 16 Sep. 1799, William b. 1806, and Sarah b. 1803. They also had a girl b. 1792-1800 and 3 boys b. 1800-1810. Anna died in Kentucky between 1820 and 1830 while in her fifties, she is probably buried somewhere near Harrodsburg.
