In the War of 1812-14 there was a Leonard WOODWARD. In the Civil War there was a Union Soldier, Isaac P. WOODWARD, of Danville, Caledonia Co., VT, who enlisted Sept. 8, 1862, mustered into the 15th Regt., Co. B., on Oct. 22, 1862, and Mustered out Aug. 5, 1863. ROSTER OF VERMONTERS WHO SERVED IN THE CIVIL WAR, VOL. 2, 1998, page 530. I have both of their short military data if you are interested. They were not my ancestors. Happy searching, J.
