Kathleen 'Dolly' Woods, 92, of South Knoxville, TN, went
to be with the Lord Monday, November 23, 2009, at Fort
Sanders Hospital.

She was born, June 17, 1917, in Akron, OH.

Dolly was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church. She
was former owner of Woody's Market. She worked on the
Manhattan Project during World War II and also worked as a
tailor for MS McClellan and for several years worked as a
tailor out of her home up until her death.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Woods; son
Jimmy Woods; daughter, Carolyn Davis; brothers, Elmer and
Harvey Goebel; and sister, Dorothy Goebel.

Survivors are a son, Randy Woods; daughters and sons-in-
law, Artie Woods and George Davis; grandchildren, Jack and
Dean Woods, and Steve and Cathy Davis; great-grandchildren,
Phoenix Anderson, Crystal Painter, Tangee Davis, and Shane
and Megan Woods.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27,
2009, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., in the chapel of Berry
Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m.,
with Rev. Scott Googe officiating.

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

Memorialized by Berry Morticians, Knoxville, TN.
