Our Patrick and Margaret Woodlock had one son, John William Woodlock born Mar. 1849 and we were told, a daughter named Margaret (born after 1850)who went to LA and became a milliner. Patrick, Margaret and John are shown on the 1850 Indiana census, after that, the parents are gone. We were told she married a doctor by the name of Sullivan. All records show John to have been born in KY (some of the kids listed LA on their census which is incorrect.) In 1850 they were in a IN county right across the river from KY. We understood John came to TX (via riverboat and LA) when a young boy with an older man who supposedly died on the trip. Our John does not show up in 1860 or 1870 census and in 1880, was in Bell Co., TX. (next to Coryell). He married in Coryell County to Ruth Evelyn Hartgraves, the daughter of Captain Brice Garner Hartgraves and Frances Ann Dunevant. One of their children, Robert Quince Woodlock married Alice Amanda Rhodes. Robert and "Allie" had a son (among others) whose name was Schley Jesse Woodlock. Schley died in 1976. He was my father-in-law. Schley married Ouida Mae Parish (both deceased). My husband James is their oldest child and only boy. He has three younger sisters, Jessie, Alice and Rosie. Shirley Woodlock
