Albert Wilcock Woddliff, Sheffield, England. Killed in the Great War, 1918
I have been researching the names on a memorial in Sheffield, England which remembers the men of the Postal Service who fell in the Great War 1914-19
The result of this research is on my website http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/ in the 'Sheffield' section. There are details relating to Albert Wilcock Woodliff.
Son of the John and Harriett (Nee Wilcock) Woodliff. Albert was killed aged 21 in 1918. I know his parents married earlier than 1897, so I think his name reflects either a birth to an unmarried mother or a previous marriage. Can anybody tell me more? did he have brothers & sisters? what did he do for the post office?
Can anybody tell me more
Kind regards
Robert.
