I apologise that it has taken so long to answer your note about William Woodley.
I have the email address of someone who well may be able to help you with your research. Babette Smith is an author and historian from NSW, who has researched and written about the Sir William Bensley and the men on board. She has researched the Woodley who was on board, and other connected Woodleys. From what I gather from Babette the Woodley story is quite a complicated one, and there may well be a link with your family.
