Hi Robin, thanks for your response to my message, unfortunately it seems that your family are not linked to mine, as, according to my research my family came to Battersea about the mid 1880's, the first time they appeared in the 1891 census in that area, previously having been in the Uxbridge area.
I do know of a couple of other Woodley families in this area not being related, it seems yours is the 3rd !!!
