This is told according to Ray Thomason(deceased) as it was handed down to him from generation to generation. Some where in ark. there was a peice of land that Levi wanted to buy for back taxes and the fellow loosing it was this indian named Silvertooth. He gave Levi numerious warnings but Levi was determined and went to purchase it . Silvertooth caught him out one night and sneaked up and shot Levi in the back of the head, killing him instantly. Everyone in the community knew who did it and they formed a viglanty committy to get justice. It was desided that one of them would kill Silvertooth in the same manner that he had taken Levi's life. After determining "the exicutioner" it was left up to him when and where it would take place. The place turned out to be Silvertooth's field as he was plowing. The exicutioner took aim and shot Silvertooth through the head, killing him just like Levi. Since it was determined that Silvertooth could not possibly be a christian, he was burried in the same grave yard as poor Levi, only in a north-south position as this would speed his way to haddies because all christians are burried facing east to the rising sun.
