Doing the Census Online Search I found in 1840:

Talladega Co. (where he owned land in 1860) William A. Woodall with 1 male 15-20, 1 male 20-30 (Wiley should be 30)
1 female 15-20 (Barbara Weaver was 14 in 1839 when they married) and 1 female 50-60 (mother? aunt? in-law?) The ages work. I just can't put names to the others.

Dallas Co AL 1840 is a "William Woodill Jr." with 1 male under 5. 1 m 5-10, 1 m 10-15, 1 m 15-20, 2 m 20-30, 50-60,
1 f under 5, 1 f 20-30. Again no names. (image 4)

In 1830 Dallas co AL I found a "Wiley Woodley" 1m & 1f under 5, 1 m & 1 f 20-30, so it's possible he was married before. (I have found a Wiley married to a Delila no less!!! But I have to "hunt" for that one again. It was spelled "Woodle" at the time.) So I have LOTS of possibles to eliminate! So many fragments. That is why we put our notes together.
