I don't know if anyone ever answered this post, but Samuel Woodhouse of PA in the 1800's was my great-great-grandfather. His father, John Woodhouse, came from Longton, Staffordshire, England in 1828 to live and work in Pottsville, PA and his family followed in 1830. John Woodhouse's daughter, Jane (Samuel's sister) was born August 3, 1817 in Longton, Staffordshire England and was 13 yrs. old when she came to live in Pennsylvania.
