Thanks to Paul Robinson for his contribution
He does great work on the Macaulay forum
Got this yesterday, from the library
By BURTCHAELL AND SADLEIR 1593-1846
WOODHOUSE, ARCHIBALD,Pen.(Mr.Hincks),Nov.4,1822,aged 16;
s. of Curran, Generosus; b.Co.Armagh. B.A.Vern.1828.
BURTCHAELL AND SADLIER 1593-1860
WOODHOUSE, JOHN OBINS, Pen.(Mr.Mooney), Feb.7,1859,aged 16;
s. of Thomas, Solicitor; b.Armagh
The books are
A REGISTER OF THE STUDENTS, GRADUATES, PROFESSORS AND PROVOSTS OF TRINITY GOLLEGE
IN THE UNIVERSITY OF DUBLIN
I am not to sure how to translate this information, perhaps we have some graduates who can!!
It is clear however that Curran Woodhouse had a son Archibald and as Paul Robinson has already pointed out
Curran also had the middle name Obins.
So Curran must be descended from John Obins
and Thomas could be Archibalds brother
Any help here would be appreciated
