In connection with your offer to help re the Woodheads of Meltham do you have any information on Richard Woodhead who married Betty Siddale 5.9.1796 at Almondbury? It is believed that Richard was baptised 6.8.1775 at Meltham and that his father was called Abraham. Any information you have which will enable me to go further back in time would be appreciated. There seem to have been at least 5 Abrahams in 1775 in Meltham and Woodhead seems to have been as common as Smith then, all very vexing.
