Dear Doyle,
Thanks so much for the exact lineage from Joeph Joshua. My GGGrandmother's name was Nancy E. Woodfin, who m. Elbert Iley over in Henderson Co TX. I thought sure I had found her family there in Shelby Co, bec my Nancy's mother's name was also Eliz and Elbert had owned land and married his first wife in Shelby Co. But she just doesn't match. The delema is that she was b. 1834 and married sometime bef 1867, and died 6 months aftr her husbnd died in 1871. I'm sure somehow she must be related to your Shelby Co. Nancy. There's just too many coincidenses not to be related. Elbert was quite a bit Creek Indian, so thought maybe my Nancy might have been from Joshua's Sister's line.
If you run across any info on any other line that has a Nancy E. Woodfin, please let me know.
