Thank you Jean,
Was Orrick hit by a train? The reason I ask is, I recall an old family letter to my Great Aunt Besse from a relative still in Maryland about someone being hit by a train. With my files buried right now and your note on the web page of Orrick working for the railroad. I was just wondering if he was the one from the old letters. Rebbeca Ellen Bosley was a daughter of William Stansbury Bosley & Sarah Ann Orrick.
Note from my genfile.
Last known address from letter written April 9, 1908 was 1300 Homeward Ave,. Baltimore, Maryland.
Listed as age 16 in 1860 census.
Rebecca Ellen Bosley was born August 27, 1844 and died September 15, 1911. She married John L Wooden April 20, 1862
I have not been able to discover whose family John L Wooden belonged to but I found a John Wooden listed in 1862 directory lists address 113 Preston. I am not even sure if this is the same John Wooden.
I have a photo of her and her brother George Washington Bosley. GGG Grampa George referred to her as Aunt Reba to his children and grandchildren. If you would like I can email you the photo.
Thanks Again,
Eileen
