According to the 1880 Federal Census, the only female Wooden living in Dutchess county, born 1871, was a Grace E. Wooden, daughter of John J. Wooden.
This could mean one of two things - her family moved out of Dutchess county prior to 1880 (can be a clue in itself), or the first name that you have in incorrect.
There were several families of Wooden/Woodin in Dutchess County - I'm trying to untangle them myself.
