I've been trying to research my dad's side of the family for years, but have always gotten stuck on my great grandfather, Herbert Woodcock.
He was married to Lula Nonne and he died while in his 20s. They had 4 (I think) kids, one of which is my grandfather, Raymond Augustus Woodcock, Sr. (my dad is Jr).
After he died, the lawyers that were hired to look after the plantation ripped off my GM. They then left for Wilmington, NC...which is where my father and his 3 other brother's were born and raised.
Does anyone have any information on this branch of the family?
