My ancestor was Mary Wood born 10DEC1785-Deane by Bolton. Married to John Wolstencroft at Manchester Cathedral 24NOV1802.
She is believed to be daughter of Charles Wood born (1759)-Haworth, Lancashire; who married 31JUL1784-Deane to Ann MORRIS
Mary's siblings believed to be Marene 20FEB1787; Ann 02JAN1790 ~ Married Edward WROE-Deane; Alice 21FEB1792 ~ married William HOLT ; Charles Wood 02MAR1793 ; and Peter Wood 09JAN1816.
The next generation I am not sure of... either Abram Wood who married Betty Kershaw OR Joseph Wood born 25APR1733 married 02DEC1760-Deane to MARY MORRIS
If you have knowledge of this family, would love more details os siblings and ancestry. THANKS
PS: 1841 Census shows my John Wolstencroft , servant at house of mother-in-law ~ Ann MORRIS (WOOD)
