Mary Blanche Wonder b. ca 1870'
I am trying to help my sister (we have the same mother, different father's) find her ancestors on her dad's side.
Her Grandmother was Mary Blanche Wonder (I'm guessing she was born in either the mid to late 1870's or mid to late 1880's) possibly born in Illinois, lived in Denver, Colorado, ca 1897/98 or 1908/09. Died in either Denver, or Los Angeles, California.
She was married to Robert Dale Walker d. Los Angeles, Ca.
They had three children that I know of,
Helen Florence Walker b. ca. 1898 (or 1908), m. Frank Williams.
John Weise Walker b. 19 Aug. 1900 (or 1910) d. 15 Nov. 1974 Lancaster, Ca. buried Trona, Ca.
Robert Dale Walker b. after John , d. as infant
Mary's sister was Abigail and she is supposed to have worked as a Telegrapher for the Burlington Railroad.I believe she lived in Illinois, possibly on a farm.
My sister's father was John Weise Walker.
Sorry for the messed up dates, but we were told by John that he was born in 1910, but all information from the Social Security Office told us that he was born in 1900.
Do any of these people connect with your information? We are beginning to think that John Walker was hatched instead of being born, cause he is sure a hard fellow to track.Any clues will be welcomed with open arms.
Thanks,
Wendy Lawrence
