My great grandfather was William Wond, born 6/23/1810 in Rothernite, Surrey, England.
He was married three times, the first to my great grandmother Mary Luluhia Kamalu in Honolulu, Hawaii.
His oldest son was George Herman Wond, my grandfather. George Herman was married twice and his children and grandchildren live in Hawaii, a few on the mainland USA and as far as I know none in England.
William Wond was apparently a rather prominent businessman in early Hawaii as the historical journals make reference to him on occassion.
If you are interested in more please post a follow up.
Somewhere I found the reference to his parents tomb stones in England.

The geneology is pretty amazing,

Russell
