Bonnie, my mother was a Slater and according to my records, Richard Slater's father was Thomas born 8 Feb. 1767 who married Margaret Cutler born 3 Dec. 1769. I know there were several Thomas Slater's from England, but there are no Wombsleep names in my records. All the other information is the same as what I have, but again, there is no Wombsleep. I hope you have already found what you're looking for. You might check with FamilySearch.org and see if you can find any matches. Good luck. Janice
