A cousin is starting to send her years of research on to me to care for and continue. There is a letter from R.L. Brownfield to Dorothy dated November 1956. He reported to her that in Nov 1955 " I was sent all genealogical data collected by J. A. Searight Uniontwn PA from 1889-1893, and in that large bundle was one (1) letter from Rachel Woolverton Brooke, Whitehall, Montana dated 1892. It gave names and dates of births of a dozen children of Mary B-Charles Woolverton married on 3/23/1820 Uniontown PA", (another letter 11/28/1956) 5 of the children died pior to 7 1/2 years of age). I sent a dozen letters into Montana and had very nice letter and much data from Mrs. Rachel Speck, Whitehall Montana.
At this point all of R.L. Brownfield's paper are "in the wind" another clue to their whereabouts was in another letter and I have emailed the Cozad NE Library in hopes they might be there along with the Brownfield Bible.
I hope this helps this piece of the Wolverton family, or at least some more names to check into for more information.
