The Lottie Maybell WOLVERTON for whom you are searching may be the Lottie M. WOLVERTON, age 9, found living with her grandparents William Wesley and Hattie (HOWELL) WOLVERTON in the 1930 US Census of Black Oak, Craighead Co., AR.Her father could have been one of the two older sons of William and Harriet, either Hubert, b.c.1899, or Frank, b.c.1901.
Hubert is reported to have died in 1915 and was not found in the 1920 census.Frank has not been found in the 1920 census, but in 1930 he was in Willis, Poinsett Co., AR, with wife Nellie CORNET, whom he married in 1923 in Pemiscot Co., MO.
Another possibility for the parent of Lottie M. WOLVERTON is a daughter of William and Harriet, Mary A.(WOLVERTON) GUNTER, widow, who with her children Juanita, age 9, and Lawrence, age 6, was also living with William and Harriet WOLVERTON in 1930 in Blackoak, Craighead Co., AR.However, since the parents of both Juanita and Lawrence are given as born in IL and AR, and the parents of Lottie are given as born in TN and MO, it would seem unlikely that Mary A. WOLVERTON was the mother of Lottie.
My money is on Frank.I would suggest further research in Missouri and Arkansas.
