Married, at Humeston, Iowa, Wednesday, November 7, at high noon, Mr. Frank T. McKibben, of Humeston, Iowa, and Miss. Jennie Wolverton, of High Point, Iowa, at their home on Summer Street. Only a few of the near relatives of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremony, which was performed by Reverend Geo. Bennett, Pastor of the M.E. Church of Garden Grove, Iowa, which was performed in a very beautiful and impressive manner, in the home which had been tastefully furnished by Mr. McKibben, after which the company were seated at a table elegantly decorated and richly spread with an abundance of the good things of life.
The groom is one of Humeston's most energetic young business men, a partner in the well known firm of King & McKibben. Also a member of the Real Estate Firm of Bledsoe & McKibben, which is one of the leading Real Estate Firms in southern Iowa. The bride is a daughter of Perry Wolverton, one of Decatur County's most prosperous and energetic farmers. She is one of High Point's most accomplished and amiable young ladies, and will be greatly missed by her friends and by the church in which she was an energetic worker, but what is High Point's loss is Humeston's gain. The people of Humeston extend to the newly married couple a hearty welcome and wish them a long life of peace and happiness and prosperity.
