James Matthew Wolverton, born 14 September 1859, is treated on page 536 of Msacdonald and McAdams' "The Woolverton Famly 1693-1850 and Beyond". He was the son of James Wolverton and Elizabeth Seay, who married on 20 September 1838 in Tishomingo County, Mississippi, and the line is carried back to the immigrant Charles Woolverton in that book.
It is only fair to tell you that I am one of the authors of the book, but if you are interested in the famiy you will certainly want to own a copy. Copies can be obtained for $49, packing and postage included, from Mrs. Nancy N. McAdams, 1428 Pinnacle View Drive, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112-6616. I have had nothing to do with the publication of the book and would not share in the profit from it if any eventuated, so you may take my recommendation as reasonably selfless.
