7.2.2.4 CYRUS5 WOOLVERTON (John4-3, Thomas2, Charles1), son of John Wolverton and Mary Bell, was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, on 14 July 1804.. His parents lived in Hamilton County, Ohio, at the time of his birth, but his widowed mother cannot be found in the 1810 census. In the 1820 census Cyrus was incorrectly listed with her as a male over 18.
Around 1822 Cyrus and his brother Charles followed their brother Thomas to Parke County, Indiana. Cyrus homesteaded there for about five years, then returned to Hamilton County, where he married on 15 February 1827 JANE FRAZEE, daughter of Samuel Maxwell Frazee and Lydia J. Bonnell. According to her gravestone she had been born on 20 November 1809.
