Hi Scott, My fathers mother was born Viola Wolverton in 1907 North Bend, Wa. She died in 1999, but not before sending me some background re our family. Here goes; "Charles Wolverton born 1660 in Wolverhampton England came to America 1682 with William Penn (I think we all know him) and George Fox. Married Mary Chadwick of Virginia 1697. Died 1746 Hunterdon Co. N.J. Buried Rosemont Church Cemetary." Here's a list of their children; Charles 1698-1768 md Margaret, Roger 1700-1761 md Mary Fox 1702-1748, Mary 1702-???, Daniel 1704-1786 md Ruth Wright, Isaac 1706-1770 md Abigal Herrin, Dennis 1709-1774 md Elizabeth Pettit, Dinah 1711-??? md Andrew Pettit and Jonathan Furman, Joel 1715-1795 md Elizabeth ?????, Thomas 1717-1760 md Mary Pettit. All born and died in NJ. Joel and Elizabeth are eventually responsible for me. I can follow that line for you if you wish, but alas, no others at this time. Surely though, one of these couples must be parents of the Charles you ask of...? I hope I helped you. Relatively yours, Jay
