Looking for anyone that may have a connection to this family. David and Pauline (Schnieder) Woltmann were both born in Russia. David about 1863 and Pauline June 25, 1868. They traveled to USA and landed in New York on the SS Rhaetia on April 22, 1889 with their 2 mo. old daughter Lydia. They then went through Pennsylvania having 2 more children, Augusta b. Mar. 18, 1893 and August b. Feb. 10, 1895. Possibly having a daughter Irene there also. Later moving to Michigan and eventually Pauline is remarried to a John Radtke in Mason Co., Michigan in 1908 with Lydia, August and Augusta with her in 1910 Census Mason Co., Michigan.

I am trying to find out what happened to David and more on his family. I have found the name to be spelled Woltmann, Waltmann, and Waltman so far. I possibly have found a 1900 Census in Beaver Twp., Bay Co., Michigan. Names and dates are very close to mine but am not sure yet if it is a different family. Family says even they were born in Russia, they were German descent possibly.

would appreciate any help,
Thanks so much,
