SUBJECT
The 2 Wolstenholmes are selling copyhold property in Ramsbottom to the 2 Misses Walsh for £300. Accordingly, it is being surrendered to the Manor by the Wolstenholmes, and the Misses Walsh are being admitted to the Manor.
Note that the 'Lord of the Manor' appears to be The Clitheroe Estate Company Limited. The customs of the Manor allow the surrender to take place out of court, and the admission is made by an Attorney acting for the purchasers. The fine for admittance is a 1/2d.
The property consists of 2 dwelling houses at numbers 84 and 86 Carr Street, Ramsbottom. A memorandum added on the back says that the house at 84 Carr Street was surrendered to the Manor by Mary and Eliza Walsh in 1917.
NB Frederick Robinson is the Steward of the Manor.
