I transcribed the listings below from Philadelphia directories. My great-grandfather was Alfred Wolstenholme, pres Alfred Wolstenholme & Son. His brother Thomas started Thomas Wolstenholme and Sons Co Inc. They also had a brother James who moved to Phildelphia, but I cannot identify which James he would be (does anyone recognize the other James?). Not living near Philadelphia, not all the abbreviations are obvious to me: Fkd = Frankford?, Gtn = Germantown?, CHill = Chestnut Hill?, Tac = ?, Hbg = ?. Does anyone know the name of the Clarke in Wolstenholme, Harrigan & Clarke?
