Hi (cousin) We have some of the same tenacity.. ha
Since we both live in free countries... ya can vote how you please...
I do not know the history of Warrington.. but I can imagine a man during War-time Ringing a bell from a Ton/hill. What was the Era?maybe during Alfred the Great's time 800+AD
As to the Viking name methodology I have shared... WHY WOULD YOU EXPECT'THEM ' TO FOLLOW ENGLISH protocol ?
Since your granny was a Wolstencroft. Was she born N.S.E.or
W. of Manchester...I find lots of records from Bury and
Oldham in earlier times back to 1500'sso not everyone of that name CAN BE fromCroft or Wolsten.Like I said graciously, earlier... maybe some folks did evolve in that
place by that method... but I am saying-- NOT ALL DID.
With friendly greetings... Maurice
