Questions about George Wolfskill (1764-1849) of KY

I am looking for the wife(s) of George Wolfskill (c.1764 Rowan Co., NC - 1/29/1849 Green Co., KY). One World Tree and Ancestry World Tree indicate that he married twice. First, c.1783 in Wayne Co., KY to Elizabeth Brent/Brents (c.1769 MD - c.1819 Green Co., KY). Second 3/27/1810 in Madison, Wayne Co., KY to Mary Ross (6/25/1774 - ???).

Children by Elizabeth Brent/Brents:
*Patsey c.1785 Wayne Co., KY
*Rachel c.1786 Wayne Co., KY
*Martha 11/3/1787 Wayne Co., KY
*Elizabeth c.1790 Wayne Co., KY
*Nancy c. 1796 Wayne Co., KY
*John 3/21/1797 Mason Co., KY
*Rebecca 1/6/1800 Madison Co., KY
*Mary "Polly" 4/15/1802 Madison Co., KY

Children by Mary Ross
*Joseph 3/29/1811 in KY
*Margaret 12/27/1813
*George M 1/3/1816 Howard Co., Missouri

I am confused over the date of death for Elizabeth Brent/Brents and the date of marriage to Mary Ross. Did George divorce Elizabeth Brent/Brents? Was he married bigamously? Is Elizabeth's death date wrong?

I am also curious about George's parents. Again, One World Tree and Ancestry World Tree list them as Joseph Wolfskill/Wolfscale (1730 Prussia - 1818 Madison Co., KY) and Margaret Smith (1745 - aft 1774 Madison Co., KY) When then, did it change from Wolfscale to Wolfskill? And where in Prussia is Joseph from?

Any help that can be given would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
