Looking for information on the Wolf family that lived in Franklin Township and Lehighton during the late 1800's to early 1900's. My gggrandparents were John and Selinda Wolf who resided in Franklin Twp as did Johns' parents Owen and Mary. Owen and Mary and their children came to Carbon County from Berks County. Johns brothers Owen K and his wife Mary Ann Billings live in Lehighton in 1880 as is brother Zachariah and wife Lucetta with son Harry. Johns children Mary E, Howard and Sarah from his first wife CAtherine? lived in Lehighton. Once married to Selinda though they lived in Franklin Twp. Their children together re: 1880 Census is George and Charles. My great grandmother Lucy was born in 1885. In 1900 Census I see an Owen Wolf, 11, being adopted by the West family of Lehighton. I wonder if he belonged to my family too. I can't find anyone except Zachariah and Lucetta from 1900 on. There is a John Wolfe in Lehighton living with Carrie Miller and her family. So I'm not sure its my John Wolf. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
