Would someone who believes they descends from this Jacob Wolf please contact me at dbton@yahoo.com as I also descend from the Jacob Wolf who died in Izard County AR. I find many posting out there that say he had an unknown wife that produced a son Michael Wolf born in PA in 1764 and then they say he married wife 2 named Catharine. I am needing some documentation that can help prove all of that. The Jacob Wolf who died in Izard County AR in 1830 was documented as a Constable in Salisbury, NC appointed in 1788. He certainly does have a son, Michael born 1864 and this father and this son and the son's wife and children moved on to Hopkins County, KY area and are well documented there. There is no wife found for the elder Jacob. Jacob (elder), Michael (his son) and Jacob (His grandson) are in court records concerning land transactions. This Jacob who died in Izard Co., AR in 1830 moved to AR about 1810 or so along with his son Michael and all of Michaels children except one daughter and family who stayed in Hopkins County, KY. This Jacob Wolf is documented in Arkansas history books as being 90 years old in 1830.
I just need some of the documentation to feel like the Jacob Wolf who died in Izard Co., AR in 1830 is the one being listed as a son of George Michael Wolfe and Elizabeth Rutter. I just am wondering about his second family of nine or ten children supposedly born in VA and PA. I see that the last one was born about 1788 in VA the same year that the Jacob Wolf who died in AR in 1830 was being appointed Constable in NC.
I want to believe as I have searched for many years for the parents of this Jacob Wolf who died in Izard Co., AR in 1830. Could we possibly do DNA testing?
