Hello, I'm working on the PALMER families actually. Mary Ann Palmer, wife of Whitefield Wolcott, is the dau. of a Mary Palmer b. ca 1791 NY or Vt. I'm trying to determine if Mary Ann is a sibling of Lyman Palmer. Lyman b. ca 1830 NY, may have married Louisa Stark. They, in turn, had a son James A. Palmer who is my children's ancestor.
I've done very little on Lyman or his possible parents. I've just sent to Washington to see if he served in the Civil War. He was right age to. He's been difficult to trace.

Deanna
