To other descendants of Abner Wolcott:
I am a descendant of Abner Wolcott, and we will be sending in a DNA sample for this project. Since I am the wrong gender, I was very happy when one of my first cousin volunteered to send in his DNA. His line is Abner, Solomon, Joseph, Solomon, Didace & Denis.
Since I've never seen any documentation to show that Abner was the son of Joseph Wolcott& Content Blakelee, this may help us find our real line of descent. So to all our many members of the Wolcott Society who are from this line, please join in this project to make it successful. Also the DNA from some other descendants of the George Wolcott line would show if we have similar DNA.
After doing reseach on this for 35 years, it's good to have modern science give us a helping hand. So join in.
