I am trying to find information about Esther Belding Wolcott. I think she was born Oct 6, 1777. I have a cross-stitch sampler (where her name is spelled with the "ing" and NOT "en") that she made when she was 9 years old with the date October 6, 1786. I think she was born on Oct. 6, 1777. Somehow, my great, great grandmother, Sarah Josepha Lenardson (m. Earle David Collamore), was given the sampler so I'm assuming that somehow we are related. Other names in my family genealogy: Read (Reed),Barney, Bowen, Wheaton, Greene, Pierce...to Roger Williams,John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. How did my family end up with this sampler?
