Don't know which James Wofford this is, but if you check Bartow County in later census records, you'll notice that Matilda ranges in age from 6 years younger than James to 1 year older. I think it was just the way it was written on the 1850 census that led to the age of 20. From what I can tell, all children belong to both James and Matilda. James shows on later records that he is born in GA with both parents born in SC.
