Some of these may be descendants of Nathaniel Wofford and Lydia Hopper. Their son Charles Wofford married Agnes Petit/Pettit, who was a daughter of a major chief of the Cherokees. They were on the Trail of Tears. Charles was a teamster for the military. You will find the descendants in AR and OK. I know their descendants were on rolls.
Charles Wofford and Agnes Petit had sons, John W. and Andrew Wofford. Charles died in Sep 1852 in Ar. Other sons were William, Nathaniel "Ned De", Robert "Bob", Daniel and James Daughterty Wofford. Several of these sons married NA women. One of the sons may have named a son Charles. I don't have all the names of the descendants of Charles and Agnes.
Nathaniel and Lydia's son Thomas J. b. 1812, had sons named Thomas J. and Andrew J. I don't know of them claiming NA descent though. They moved to Hokes Bluff, AL.
Nathaniel and Lydia had a son John, but know who he married and where he moved and died (Florida). There were a couple other sons, but again, know who they married, lived, died.
