Looking for descendants of Albert Jones and Anna Allen.

Albert E. Jones was born in 12 March 1876 in Meigs, lived in the Blue Rock area, and died at home in North Linden Avenue at 82 years old on 3 September 1959 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. Albert married Anna A. Allen on 29 March 1898 in Muskingum County, Ohio. Their pastor was Reverend CI Fellows. Anna Allen was born about 1881 and died before 1994. According to the 1920 US Census, Albert and Anna lived in Penn Township, Jay County, Indiana. At that time, Albert was a laborer on a general farm. According to the 1930 US Census, Albert and Anna lived at 1238 Marietta St. in Zanesville with their son, Everette Jones, daughter, Fern Jones, widowed daughter Nilah Hankison and Nilah’s five-year old son, Donald L. Hankison. Albert rented his home for $22 a month and worked as a packer for a China pottery.
       
Albert and Anna’s children were:
a) Everette H. Jones was born 7 April 1898 in Zanesville, Ohio and died 21 September 1994 at home in Zanesville at 96 years old. On 8 September 1930, Everette married Wilma F. Ethell, daughter of Emmett Ethell and Minnie McDonald. Wilma was born 16 June 1903 in Muskingum County, Ohio and died 27 August 1980 in Zanesville, Ohio. Everette and Wilma had no children. According to the 1930 US Census, Everette worked as a dipper in an art pottery. According to his Ohio Death Record, Everette worked for the railroads.

b) Ruth M. Jones was born 1905 in Ohio and died before 1994. She married a man whose last name was Davis. In 1959, Ruth and her family lived in Pittsburgh. They had eleven children.

c) Nilah M. Jones was born 16 March 1904 in Indiana and died January 1989 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. She married a man who last name was Hankison. According to the 1930 US Census, Nilah lived as a widow at 26 years old with her parents, Albert and Anna, at 1238 Marietta St., Zanesville. She worked as a finisher in an art pottery. Also living with her was her son, Donald L. Hankison, born about 1925. According to the Ohio Death Index, there was a Nilah Hankison who died 1 October 1923 and a Mary I. Hankison who died 24 November 1928 in Zanesville. It is possible, but speculation, that these were Nilah’s children. In 1959, Nilah Hankison lived in Centerville, Indiana.

d) Lillian F. Jones was born 27 July 1906 in Indiana and died 12 September 1995 at 11:15 AM in a hospital in Zanesville. About 1925, she married Frederick A. Woerner who was born about 1905 in Ohio. Fred was the son of Frederick J. Woerner from Wurtemburg, Germany and Dora {last name unknown} who was born in Ohio. Fred grew up speaking German in his childhood home. According to the 1930 US Census, Frederick and Lillian lived in Falls Twp, Muskingum County, Ohio and rented their home for $15 a month. In 1994, Lillian lived in Zanesville, Ohio.

Fred and Lillian Jones Woerner’s children were:
aa) Roland J. Woerner was born 29 May 1926 in Muskingum County, Ohio and died at 1:30 AM at 68 years old on 1 February 1995 in Morgan County, Ohio. He served in the US Navy. Roland worked as a laborer in oil and gas extraction. At the time of his death, he left a widow.

bb) Marian I. Woerner was born 1928.

cc) Frederick D. Woerner was born 15 February 1934 in Muskingum County, Ohio and died 14 June 1997 at 12:35 PM at a hospital at 63 years old in Zanesville. He worked in welding and cutting for a glass company. He served in the Marine Corps. At the time of his death, Fred was divorced.

dd) Perry Allen Woerner was born 22 December 1939 in Muskingum, Ohio and died 15 July 2000 in Muskingum County at 8:55 AM at 60 years old as a result of an injury. He served in the US Navy. At the time of his death, he left a widow.

e) Fern A. Jones was born in 17 October 1912 in Indiana and died 29 May 1977 at 64 years old in Zanesville. She married Oscar Ingman Odegaard who was born 28 June 1906 in Minnesota and died at 5:30 PM in a long term care facilitiy on 10 February 1998 at 91 years old in Adamsville, Muskingum County, Ohio. Oscar’s parents may have been Ole Odegaard and Amanda M. Jersdal who lived in River Falls, Pennington County, Minnesota in the 1930 US Census. Oscar served in the US Army. He worked as a laborer in electrical machinery. Fern and Oscar lived on 1019 Pine St., Zanesville in 1959. They adopted one child.
