Witz Families from Pennsylvania

Hi, currently doing research on the Witz family in Pennsylvania. My GGgrandfather's name is Henry Witz, but was born and died in Michigan. His father Jacob, mother Sarah, both moved to and died in MI, but Jacob was born in Pennsylvania 1809, his father was John, mother Molly. In researching the Witz surname in Pennsylvania I have come across a copy of Henry Witz's. I believe they all stem from the same Witz lineage. Also note: During the American Revolution the English Crown hired German mercenaries to help fight (around 30,000 or so) and about 6000 or so stayed behind after the war. I'm collecting any and all information on any Witz's in Pennsylvania to compile a consolidated list that would hopefully tie them all together. I have noted in a number of records that the birth places for many German named individuals were always listed as being born in Germany even though they were not. Would love to compare notes, thanks
