Have been interested to read the various messages regarding Cheshire Witters. Does anyone have any connections with Wheelock/Sandbach/Weston areas in the mid 1800s. Our Witters were/are farmers and I also note the German connections with the name. There has been rumour about this German connection although it was always thought it was on the Green side of the family. Look forward to hearing from anyone with info.
