Ernie and I have some differences on a few dates.

There are quite a few "interesting" marriages involving some of our ancestors. Martha Pennington was first married to a Haws. (Your great aunt, Pearl married a Haws.)
Richardson's first wife Marilda was the daughter of Louvina Pennington, Martha's sister. Your grandmother Minnie married Elmer "Doc" Withrow and her sister's first husband was Doc's half-brother, Edward Withrow. And some of the Withrows married into the Leathers line and we are Leather's descendents. Other Penningtons also married some Withrows.

Many of the families in this area lived in the same areas prior to Illinois, ie. Withrows and Penningtons were in the Cumberland Co, Ky and Jackson Co, Tn area.

One Loker line is tied to the Penningtons through Tommy Johnston's child. Your mother's cousin, Tommy is the son of Phoebe Pennington Johnston, Minnie's sister.
