Yes, I'm related to the Connells and no doubt you heard of me through Laura Lordan.
I live in Kings County, N.S. from where the Connell family lived for a time between settling in Dalhousie and moving to the U.S.
I'm interested in tracing all the decendants of James Franey which would include your branch of the Connells.

2 Joseph J. ROSS.
Joseph J. married Catherine Gertrude CONNELL.
3 Catherine Gertrude CONNELL. Born on 11 Oct 1872.
6 James CONNELL. Born in 1838. James died in Hyde Park, Norfolk Co., MA on 21 Dec 1883; he was 45. Buried in Fairview, Mass.
On 13 Jul 1865 when James was 27, he married Annie Theresa ROGERS, in Kentville, Kings Co., N.S.
7 Annie Theresa ROGERS. Born on 19 Aug 1846 in N.S. Annie Theresa died in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA on 11 Nov 1922; she was 76.
12 John CONNELL. Born abt 1816. John died in Hyde Park, Suffolk Co., MA on 4 Jul 1897; he was 81.
On 27 Nov 1835 when John was 19, he married Anne FRANEY, in Dalhousie, N. S.
13 Anne FRANEY. Born ABT 1810/1815 in Ireland. Anne died in Milton, Norfolk Co., Mass. on 28 Feb 1898; she was 88.
26 James FRANEY. Born in Ireland.
James married Mary Elizabeth CONDON.
27 Mary Elizabeth CONDON. Mary Elizabeth died on 21 Nov 1867 in Dalhousie, N. S.
