William Witherspoon had a son James Witherspoon. I'm not sure if James had siblings or not. James first wife was Cary (unsure of last name) she had six kids. Willie, Pearl, Israel, Elison, Sue, and Elijah. James second wife Clara Witherspoon (James married his niece) she had seven kids. Joel, Katherine, Albert, John, Ed, Fred, and Frances.
Not sure if this is the same William Witherspoon you are searching for but the William Witherspoon I wrote about is from Sumter, SC.
